Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently asked question (and answers)!
Why does this site exist?
I decided to take a break from drinking but still enjoyed beer and the social aspect. I was having a difficult time finding locations that served or sold non-alcoholic beer and wanted to solve that problem. I bet you found this site for the same reason! I hope you found it useful.
You're missing something / something is wrong / I have an idea!
I love that you're asking this! Please email me your feedback or additions. Ensure you include the location and what non-alcoholic beer option(s) they have and I'll get it added. If something is wrong, still, please email me and let me know.
Why is the list currently limited?
It's currently quite the manual process to get the info to compile the lists. Hopefully that will change over time, thank you for your patience!
How is NA beer made?
The method that produces the best true to the original flavor is a vacuum. ABV Technology, from St. Paul, MN, developed Dual-Stage Vacuum Separation tech used by many brewers to extract the alcohol from their beer while retaining the original flavor of the beer. The byproduct they collect is a clear beverage of the same ABV as the source but without color or flavor. Pretty cool!
